Buyer's Agent

Buyer's Agent

An agent who represents the buyer in a real estate transaction.

Buyer's agents understand the specific needs of their clients, and they use their knowledge to the advantage of the buyer. They research listed properties in the required area and identify potentially suitable properties. They then arrange for viewings and offer advice on which homes are best suited to the buyer's needs. During the negotiation and purchase process, buyer's agents act as a guide and sounding board for their clients, ensuring that their client's best interests are represented. Buyer's agents are also knowledgeable regarding mortgage and financing options and the closing process. They help buyers prepare and evaluate offers and work to get the best deals for their clients. It is the buyers agent’s job to ensure that all paperwork is completed and filed correctly. Once the sale is confirmed, the buyer's agent is responsible for setting up closing dates and looking after the final details of the sale. Buying a home can be a stressful process, but having a buyer's agent to represent a buyer can be a huge help, taking some of the strain off of the process and ultimately helping them find the right property for them.
